The team behind the work

A small, interdisciplinary group working across microfluidic engineering, cell biology, and computational analysis.

Prof. Hye-ran Moon
Principal Investigator

Hye-ran Moon, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor, School of Integrative Engineering, Chung-Ang University

Prof. Moon leads the Advanced Biomicrosystems Laboratory, where her group develops microfluidic organ-on-chip and organoid platforms for modeling human physiology and the tumor microenvironment.

Her research spans microfluidic bioengineering, biosensing, and the AI/ML-based standardization of organoid and organ-on-chip data for precision medicine. She holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
